This 63 ha thoroughbred horse farm is situated approximately 12 km from Robertson, close to the R62, in one of the many picturesque valleys that abound in the Langeberg region.

Being close to two of the major stud farms in the country, it is a short drive to some of the best stallions. Panoramic views over Sandberg, lower hills and the majestic Langeberg, add to the beauty of the farm. The top-end of the farm, surrounding the large storage dam, is still unspoilt level renosterveldt of approximately 15 ha. Should the need arise to have this arable land developed too, approval from Environmental Affairs will be required. For now, one can look forward to spring when this veldt boasts spectacular displays of bright pink, yellow and orange flowers and succulents in bloom. Here one can take long walks with the family dogs, and also horse ride year-round. To the north, the property borders on an immensely beautiful nature reserve that offers surprise sightings of wildlife. Game-fencing separates the nature reserve from the property, while antelope droppings and tracks at the two dams are proof of nocturnal visits from the small game.

12 ha of cultivated land are divided into 6 grassed paddocks that are irrigated via underground, pop-op sprayers. 10 ha of dry paddocks have electric tape-fencing between wooden poles. All the paddocks are equipped with auto-filled water points.

In 3.5 ha of lucerne is seeded on rotation for a 5 year period, with teff or oathay planted for one season in between lucenre cycles. These fields yield approximately 450 bales per cut, up to 6 cuts per annum. These too, are irrigated by an underground irrigation system.

3.6 ha of well-established Shiraz vineyards, under drip irrigation, produce approximately 12 tonnes of grapes per annum. A top-rated winery near Bonnievale has an annually renewable partnership agreement to produce and store the wine, bottled under a special label for personal use and sales. Currently 6,000 bottles are produced per annum.

Water is supplied from the Breede River, the registered rights being 10 ha, as part of a shared scheme totalling 50 ha. A large, jointly-owned pump is normally used for pumping to the separation point. The farm owns the pump set up at the separation point, as well as a smaller pump for own use at the river. Approval for 20 additional ha of water is pending. after application was made in 2024.
An Eskom line supplies 3 Phase electricity from two transformers.

The farm house is modern, with an open-plan, double-volume living area and kitchen. An office/third bedroom upstairs overlooks the nature reserve and the Langeberg mountains. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite), a full-length deep verandah and double garage with access to the scullery, enhance this architect-designed home. Four sets of French doors lead to the verandah.

Farm infrastructure is set out neatly in a well-organized space. These include 12 wooden stables with chromadek roof, and two sheds for storing lucerne and implements. A single brick building includes the vet room with crush; tack room; large foaling stable; storage space and two rooms with a kitchen and bathroom for staff performing night duty during the foaling season.

A pump house with various pumps, a stallion barn and small paddock, as well as a loading ramp complete the facilities.
